Seriously, I don't wish to comment much about this shop but I guess for the benefits for those who love to wear made-to measure Dresses, I should give my reviews about this shop Love Potion.Love Potion is located at Far East Plaza Level 1 4th floor. Website is http://www.lovepotion.com.sg. In their website, they said their dresses are MADE TO MEASURE. Trust me, they will tell you this initially but when you already paid for the dress and realise the size doesn't fit, they will say "OH, IT IS MADE TO ORDER".The bridesmaids actually get our dresses from Love Potion. First, they had our measurements taken and told us the dresses will be custom-made according to your measurements. And the processing time will take awhile cos it will be made-to-measure in HongKong. And we happily trusted their service and paid $90 per dress. A month later, we went to try the dresses and majority of us are unhappy about their "masterpieces". To cut it short, I shall just comment about my dress. It was a Toga dress, chiffon material. I went to the shop and try for my custom-made dress. And she said all sizes are size S. I didn't think too much at that moment and tried the dress. And GOSH, It was loose at the bust area and tight at the stomach (high waist) area. I thought I was FAT and I asked to alter to make it loose. She shocked me by replying "Oh, there is no room for alteration!" Now I am waiting for her to call me to go for the 2nd try. She better call me asap or else I will need to spend some time in forums giving my "wonderful reviews" about their shop. I guess they won't lose their shop but lose their SHOP REPUTATION and businesses too. And i realised the rest of the bridesmaids are unhappy about their dresses too. They are some who go for 1st try and it was Too loose and so after alteration, it becomes TOO TIGHT.We called them to fix the problems and argued that it was not made to measure. They still dare to argue that they don't see anything wrong with their service. Now the important sentence said by Love Potion - "If the dress is made to measure, the dress would cost $300+ each".CRAPS! I think I could just get any dress outside and do my alterations myself. What's the point of taking down our measurements and yet tailor made a generic size S for everyone. Really brainless!Next, I will post my negative reviews about Love Potion in all forums related to dresses, made-to-measure etc. What I know is they have 2 to 3 shops now. I make sure they will close down the other shops and left only 1 but with poor business.DON'T EVER STEP IN LOVE POTION. Poor service, poor alterations, poor attitude!
